At AAC Anba Abraam Charity, we create meaningful change by addressing essential needs across education, healthcare and economic support. Our programs are designed to provide immediate assistance while fostering long-term sustainability for underprivileged communities.
We are committed to reducing food insecurity through the operation of St. Mary’s Food Bank, a vital community resource. As a member of Food Banks Mississauga, it collects, sorts and distributes millions of pounds of food annually to underserved individuals and families. With the help of dedicated staff and volunteers, food is gathered from local businesses and distributed to those in need, ensuring thousands of individuals receive essential groceries.

St. Joseph’s Community Kitchen, supported by AAC, offers hot meals twice a week at St. Mary’s Food Bank’s Dundas location. Starting as a soup kitchen, the program now includes a dine-in area, counselling services and social skills programs to help individuals reintegrate into the community. Meals are also delivered to homebound individuals in need.

AAC is a proud supporter of the Meals on Wheels Program operated by St. Mary’s Food Bank. This program serves homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities by delivering nutritious meals directly to their homes. Meals on Wheels not only provides essential food to its clients but also fosters human connection through their regular interactions with volunteers. This vital service helps prevent malnutrition and social isolation, supporting the physical and emotional well-being of the region’s most vulnerable populations.
